the act or power of moving from place to place.
the act or ability of an entity or person to transport or move oneself from place to place.
Locomotion is a series of mini knitted landscapes that were made in mobility in various locations and times of the day. The compact size of the tools aided its transportation and its on-the-go realization and completion until its final exhibition at the Platforms Project.
I am interested in the themes of mobility, moving from one place to another and the nomadic function of the work. Locomotion is the mobility of the artwork itself, moving from place to place as a traveler itself, reminiscing of the artist himself that is almost always in mobility.
