An interactive sensory haptic station exploring touch, perception and embodied experience.

Designed in accordance with European accessibility standards, the station was adjusted to heights and configurations to accommodate wheelchair users, children and adults. Its design supports visitors with visual, physical and other disabilities, while offering an accessible, engaging and meaningful experience for everyone.

The station incorporates a range of sensory and tactile materials that guide visitors through the different stages of the creative process, encouraging exploration, participation and hands-on engagement while it is inclusive, accessible and engaging for all visitors.

The Sensory HAPTIC Station expands this approach by creating opportunities for equal participation and multisensory engagement within the museum experience. The initiative forms part of the wider multisensory museum programme “Senses” of the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation, which aims to promote greater accessibility and inclusion in culture and museums.
It also in display the Pierides Museum in Larnaca, contributing to the development of more inclusive and accessible cultural experiences.
